Pemateri dalam acara sosialisasi ini adalah Dewi Puri Astiti, M.Si., Ulifa Rahma, M.Psi., dan Ika Herani, M.Si. Secara filosofi MMD sama dengan KKN, yaitu menerapkan ilmu yang didapat selama proses perkuliahan dan diterapkan di masyarakat. Harapannya mahasiswa yang mengikuti Program MMD ini bisa merumuskan masalah sekaligus solusinya, dan dimanifestasikan ke dalam bentuk program.<\/p>\n<p>MMD sifatnya wajib bagi Mahasiswa Angkatan 2021 sebagai pengganti Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM), oleh karena itu mereka wajib mendaftar di semester empat. Mahasiswa Angkatan 2020 tidak wajib mengikuti Program MMD. Bagi Mahasiswa Angkatan 2021 yang belum mendaftar di semester empat, maka diwajibkan mendaftar di semester enam. Prosedurnya adalah mahasiswa melakukan proses KRS, kemudian mendaftar di SIAM untuk program MMD. Kegiatan MMD dilakukan di semester antara 4 dan 5 atau di semester antara 6 dan 7.
