COMMUNITY SATISFACTION INDEX

In order to ensure that Psychology graduates can meet the needs of society, the Department of Psychology has conducted a survey regarding the public satisfaction index for: Graduate and alumni users.

Based on the user satisfaction survey results, graduate users generally assess that Psychology program alumni possess competencies that meet organizational needs and possess superior qualities. Furthermore, employed alumni are perceived to possess good ethics, knowledge, and foreign language skills. Graduate users' expectations for the Psychology program at Brawijaya University include: soft skill and technical competence. In this aspect soft skill, Graduate users expect alumni to possess skills in emotional management, self-awareness, loyalty, time management, initiative, critical thinking, adaptability, and self-development. Meanwhile, in terms of technical competency, alumni are expected to possess insight into the latest technology, test equipment administration, and business-related knowledge. These expectations are relevant to the majority of alumni working in industry and organizations that require business-related knowledge to perform optimally. Every suggestion from graduate users received by the Psychology study program through the Graduate User Satisfaction Survey then becomes useful input for developing the Psychology study program so that it not only graduates students but also produces graduates who are in line with the needs of the program..

Meanwhile, from the curriculum workshop activities, according to alumni of Psychology Universitas Brawijaya who have worked, they provide input that it is necessary to improve several competencies such as communication skills, foreign languages, the use of technology for statistical data analysis, the ability to work together, negotiate, project management, and study current issues that are multidisciplinary.
